Brevimano comes from the Latin term “Brevi Manu” that is “from hand to hand, without intermediation”.
Brevimano is above all a project geared towards making the classic image of the artisan more modern and updated through an innovative communication campaign on social media. It is aimed at being instrumental in entering this sector.
It is a young start-up for the reintroduction of artisan employment for the new generation, being the first professional network for job requests and offers in this field, focusing on the world of internships and apprenticeships. In the mind of the young, artisan professions are inadequate, old and out-of-date with respect to the horizons of a transformed society.
Brevimano intends on revolutionizing this concept with the belief that an initiative promoted by the young for the young, can be the best way to reach this objective.
In an unstable economic context in which most young people are forced to face great difficulties in finding work that is satisfying and well-paid, the artisan sector represents a professional outlet unknown to many. A synthesis of traditional and innovative, the artisan is the pillar of the Italian manufacturing and economic system that represents an excellence that is unequaled in Europe.
Being an artisan requires discipline, inclination towards work, and perseverance in learning from your mistakes, of course dexterity and even creativity, the spirit of observation as well as the ability to relate with others. Today being an artisan represents the contamination of the rediscovery of old traditions with the openness to new horizons.
